Doctoral Student Leo Mock studied Yeshiva in Israel. He also studied Jewish history at Bar-Ilan University and Ancient History at the University of Amsterdam. Since 1999 he has been a professor the Hebrew University of Amsterdam. Together with Rabbi Raphael Evers he wrote At the Table With The Rabbi – Food and Drink in a Biblical Perspective (1999). His work as a columnist for Het Nieuw Israëlietisch Weekblad (The New Israel Weekly) has been published in two volumes: Zapping the Talmud (2002) and Surfing on the Sea of the Talmud (2004). Leo is on the staff of educators at Crescas in The Netherlands.
